Living Water is a time for men and women of all ages to discuss the sermon in more depth. This discussion period is led by one of our ministers and is a time for asking questions about the sermon, diving into details that may have been missed, and discussing together how God's message from the sermon that day applies to our own everyday lives.

We provide opportunities for our kids to grow spiritually both with their peers and their families. We have Bible classes for kids of all ages on Sundays at 9:30 am and Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. During our worship services, families have the opportunity to worship together. Please fill out a Plan a Visit form so that we can connect you with your child's Bible class teacher and help you find the right classes for your kids when you arrive. For young families, there is a nursery available at the back of the auditorium.

This just means that we are a group of believers who belong to Christ. Our church is led by a group of shepherds who operate in our congregation and ours alone. There is no larger governing body that leads our church. This also means that we don’t have a formal, external denominational doctrine that guides our practices. We simply do our best to apply the Bible to guide our life and practice.

Each week during worship, we pray, sing, share good news and struggles, read Scripture together, hear a message, and take the Lord’s Supper. Worship usually lasts for about an hour. We then have a short break, and our “Living Water” large-group discussion lasts 30 minutes after our worship time in the auditorium. Our small-group Bible classes meet at 9:30 and last 45 minutes. These classes are based on a book of the Bible or a topic. They last for about 13 weeks, and they are a great opportunity to connect with individuals in our church family better.

The Lord’s Supper is something that Jesus taught his disciples to do in the New Testament before He died. In the Old Testament, the Jews celebrated deliverance from Egypt through a feast of unleavened bread and fruit of the vine, and today, we celebrate our deliverance through Jesus with the same bread and cup. We remember that Jesus lived a human life, that he died in our place to give us life, and that he did the same for every other human being, including those who surround us as we participate in the Lord’s Supper together. You can read about this in Matthew 26 as well as 1 Corinthians 11.

We do our best to follow the teachings of the apostles in the New Testament. This includes our worship services. We see no mention of musical instruments being used in the New Testament in a context of worship. This is why we simply sing during our worship. Singing is explicitly mentioned in the New Testament on a number of occasions, and we do our best to honor the Lord by following those commands and examples. We know that Christians in the first century sang to God, so that’s what we do. There is something very special about raising our voices in praise to God together. It’s not about who can sing the best. It’s about offering what we can to the God who deserves it all.
